SCVRWC donation to www.AnySoldier.com

Here is a picture of the SCVRWC box of donations to www.AnySoldier.com. We are sending these donations to Sgt. Hennan. A donation bucket will be at each meeting, but anyone may donate to anyone at any time at www.AnySoldier.com.
On April 24, 2007, the St. Croix Valley Republican Women's Club of St. Croix and Pierce Counties met with guests Sgt. Robyn Major, Jesse Garza and Char Rasmussen, Wisconsin Federation of Republican Women 3rd District Vice President. A major priority of the SCVRWC is to support our troops' families in the St. Croix Valley. More information may be found at the SCVRWC blog at www.SCVRWC.blogspot.com. Anyone may donate at any time, but the SCVRWC invites all Republicans to contribute to our special fund for Sgt. Adam Hennen, a Wisconsin soldier. Republicans may send any donations to Treasurer, Angi Weicherding, who can maintain the fund until we reach a certain level at which time we could send another package to his troop . This is another way to bless a soldier with our support.
Back L-R: Sgt. Robyn Major, Medora Koehler, Darla Meyers, Suzette Lenzen, Angi Weicherding
Front L-R: Deborah Elwood, Yvonne Qualantone, Charlotte Rasmussen, Janet Lindstrom

America's Fallen Heroes Hosts the Armed Services Blood Drive!

St. Paul, MN--America's Fallen Heroes, an organization dedicated to honoring and remembering Minnesota and Wisconsin's fallen soldiers in the War on Terrorism, announced today that they will team up with other military support organizations in the area to host a blood drive for the Armed Services Blood Program (ASBP). For more information contact: Jesse Garza, President of America's Fallen Heroes, 612-201-3192 americasfallenheroes@hotmail.com.

Scheduled for June 13, 2007, from 8:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m., the ASBP will be at the St. Paul Armory at 600 Cedar Street (1 block south of the state capitol), collecting blood to help save the lives of those men and women in uniform who are ill or injured. (Parking will be at Sears Roebuck & Co., 425 Rice St., 1 block west of Armory).

Give Blood!
We urge you to come out and give blood in memory of all fallen heroes in Minnesota and Wisconsin, and in special memory of three young men who gave their lives in service to their country, to whom this blood drive is dedicated: Spc. Edward J. Herrgott, 20, Shakopee, MN, July 3, 2003, Iraq; Staff Sgt. Dale A. Panchot, 26, Northome, MN, November 17, 2003, Iraq; Sgt. Michael Carlson, 22, St. Paul, MN, January 24, 2005, Iraq.

How long will it take?
From start to finish, less time than your favorite TV show, or, up to one hour. The blood donation procedure typically lasts for 10 minutes.

Am I eligible to donate?
Most healthy adults are eligible blood donors. Remember, one donation can save up to three lives. The best way to find out if you are an eligible donor is to contact Dann Reynolds at 502-624-6633.
